The current plan is to store hazardous nuclear waste in canisters approximately 100 feet from our shore at San Onofre State Beach, not far from where you paddle out to enjoy the waves or where you gather with your friends and family. Not to mention this lies on an active fault line.  If we don’t act now future generations will be left with a toxic environment.
